Which Flavored Sugar Cubes Do I Use for My Coffee, Tea, Cocktails?
Share
Some—okay, many—of our daily decisions are stressful and tiring. We at Storied Goods have had enough of that. We think it’s time to make a decision that's interesting, delightful, and tasty--like deciding which Sugar Cube goes in your drink.
We have ideas, of course. We created each flavor with certain drinks in mind, but we also want to see what you choose. The delight is in the discovery.
Our gourmet Sugar Cubes do several things at once (amazing, right?): they sweeten, add flavor, and make your drink beautiful. Instead of opening a bottle of drippy syrup, digging through the spice rack, or searching the fridge for that old jar of cherries, you just pop one of our easy, delicious Cubes in your drink.
So, where should you begin?
Cinnamon Vanilla Sugar Cubes: Coffee, Tea, and Cozy Drinks
Cinnamon Vanilla is our bestseller for good reason. Each Cube combines pure cane sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and a little clove. Drop one into hot coffee, and you have the flavors of a coffee-shop drink without the expense and hassle. No messy flavored syrup necessary, and because our Cubes are shelf-stable, they can sit in a little corner of your counter.
Try one in black tea, chai, hot chocolate, or hot apple cider. We’ll take one of each.
How about in whiskey? Cinnamon and vanilla pair beautifully with the caramel, oak, and spice notes in bourbon. Try a Cube in an Old Fashioned variation or a hot toddy. Also delicious in an Irish Coffee or Cinnamon Espresso Martini.
Orange Cherry Sugar Cubes: Old Fashioneds and More
We created Orange Cherry after hearing the same request again and again: could we make a Cube for an Old Fashioned?
Traditionally, an Old Fashioned begins with sugar, bitters, orange, and cherry. Our Orange Cherry Cube puts it all together--pure can sugar, fresh orange zest, and tart cherry--in one convenient Cube. Place the Cube in the bottom of your rocks glass, add bitters, and muddle. Pour in bourbon or rye, add a large cube of ice, stir, savor.
The Old Fashioned is chef's kiss, but nobody hides our Sugar Cubes—or Baby—in the corner (of the bar). Try Orange Cherry in black tea, sparkling water, mulled wine, or hot cider.
Rose Petal Sugar Cubes: Tea, Sparkling Wine, and Gin
Rose Petal was our first, award-winning Sugar Cube. Created for the Champagne Cocktail--traditionally made with a sugar cube. A faint rose essence meets your nose, while organic, edible rose petals float in your bubbles. Works beautifully in all NA sparkling wines and drinks. This is your I-need-to-feel-like-a-Queen drink!
Rose Petal also belongs in tea. Try it with black or herbal tea, or make our version of a London Fog, with Earl Grey, warmed milk, and a splash of vanilla. Some of our customers love it in coffee.
Hosting brunch? Make the Storied Goods Rose Petal French 75 with a Rose Cube, gin, lemon juice, and sparkling wine. Your friends will be asking to come back to your house every weekend...which may or may not be a good thing.
Celebration Sparkle Sugar Cubes: Anything Bubbly
We are a celebration company. Of course we made a party-pink Sugar Cube with rhubarb bitters and edible glitter.
Drop a Celebration Sparkle Cube into sparkling wine and watch the bubbles break down the Cube, while the glitter moves through the glass. The rhubarb bitters add a hint of flavor that elevates, not dominates, sparkling wines with and without alcohol.
Can You Use the Same Flavored Sugar Cube in Different Drinks?
Please do! There is no single right drink for any of our flavors. Be creative, and let us know your favorites.
If you love cinnamon in coffee, start with Cinnamon Vanilla. If you love an Old Fashioned, reach for Orange Cherry. If tea is your whole world, spend some time with Rose Petal. If you’re pouring something bubbly for friends, bring out Celebration Sparkle.
We make flavored Sugar Cubes because we think drinks—and life—should be easier, more delicious, and more fun.
Choose your drink. Choose your Cube. Stir up something good.
